Just announced is a new action title for the 360 (and PS3) that features a woman with guns and various powers, shooting angels that have (presumably) done something wrong. The first intro trailer is released, and it shows basically nothing of course. Like most newly announced games, it could be good... it could be absolute dreck. We'll see.

Great games on XBLA aren't too hard to find, but the original Assault Heroes does stand out as a great co-op arcade-style shooter. The sequel is out now, and there looks to be a lot more variety to be had. Lots 'o fun.
Pony up some points Jeff?

People dressing up as game characters isn't anything new. There's an entire cosplay scene centered around that. What is new, though, is how good these two guys look in their homemade costumes.

"This is Adam and Walter, from the 405th. Hi Adam and Walter! Adam and Walter like Halo, and they like cosplay, so seeing them dressed as Halo characters isn't that big a shock. What is a shock is the quality of these costumes! If somebody told me these were photos smuggled off the set of the Halo movie I'd totally agree with them, for a second, before remembering there is no Halo movie, then saying "aaaahhhh, ya got me". A new trailer for Ninja Gaiden 2 gives more evidence for what most of us already know... the game will be exceptional.... and hard. It's a must-get for action fans, or anyone who has played the original Ninja Gaiden and/or Ninja Gaiden Black.

Game is going to offer serious intensity as you try to survive hordes of Zombies. It's looking better each time we see it. 4-player co-op action should be great.

Too Human is dropping the 4-player co-op feature and locking it in at 2-player. That's fine with me, and the new footage looks like a decent action/RPG blend. Reviews will be carefully watched on this one before I make the plunge. It's on my radar, but certainly not a pre-order.

Good news for fans of the comic. I'm interested, but need some reviews and some demo time in with it first. 1600 points is a fair bit.
"The first episode of Penny Arcade Adventures: On The Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness has been officially dated for May 21, 2008, coming to Xbox Live Arcade and Windows, Mac and Linux. Cost to you? $19.95 USD or 1600 Microsoft points." (Kotaku)

Lots of talk and hope that the game wouldn't suck... as do almost all movie-based games that come out with the film. Unfortunately, the game does suck, as this review (and many others) states. Too bad. Once again, it could have been a lot of fun.

F.E.A.R. had some great effects, particularly in the area of particles. Smoke, debris, and blood looked excellent. The following video clip shows the comparison between F.E.A.R. and Project Origin in terms of blood. Kinda cool.

GEARS OF WAR 2. First footage.
GameVideos.com also has the above footage (1st clip) and their own comparisons to the original game. I didn't see the need to post that, as it's essentially the same thing.
From XBox 360 Fanboy comes this short list of things we've learned from this one clip:
